Supplementary Chargesheet Soon in TSPSC Scam, Will Name 69 Accused

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Hyderabad city police investigating the TSPSC question paper leakage scam arrested three more persons

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police’s special investigation team (SIT) probing the TSPSC question paper leak scam will be filing the supplementary chargesheet soon. It will have the details of the investigation conducted against 69 accused persons, most of whom are candidates who had obtained the question papers illegally. The first chargesheet filed in June listed 37 accused.

The second chargesheet would include the name of former TSNPDCL engineer Pula Ramesh, who is accused of supplying question papers to at least 50 candidates. Inquiries revealed that Ramesh, who sourced the copies of the question papers from the main accused Pulidindi Praveen Kumar and Atla Rajashekar Reddy, made deals starting from Rs15 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

In many cases, the candidates gave him small amounts of cash and promised to pay the rest after the exams. He played a key role in supplying the question papers for the post of Assistant Engineer.

The investigation has ruled out the role of the TSPSC confidential section incharge Shankarlaxmi in leaking the question paper.

Reports from the Forensic Science Lab( FSL) about the examination of the devices seized from the TSPSC, gadgets, mobile phones and several other electronic evidence is awaited.
