More LSD seized in Kozhikode
The stamp type LSD seized on Sunday costs lakhs of rupees in the open market, said the police.
Kozhikode: Following the seizure of one of the largest hauls of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) drug in the state, 165gm from a young mechanical engineer, the city police is continuing its intensive raids in the suspected pockets. On Sunday, they arrested another youngster with .75 mg of LSD in stamp form. The accused admitted to supplying it to youngsters and students after smuggling it from Bengaluru, Mysuru and Goa.
Shafad T.P., 22, son of Kammukoya, Baithul Safa house, Thayyil Purayil, Marykkunnu was arrested near Kalluthankadavu colony after a tip-off received by the city police commissioner. South ACP Abdul Razaq is leading the special raids in connection with the seizure of LSD drugs. The team consisted of Kasaba circle inspector P. Pramod, sub-inspectors Sjijith, Ramjith, Binil Kumar, Jineesh, Shaji, Niras and Bijumon.
