An aged businessman, who is unable to wait in a long queues to draw money from ATMs and who also does not wish to lose business time due to his absence from his shop by waiting long before ATMs’ following the Centre’s demonetisation, has hit upon a novel idea to overcome this difficult situation.
R. Sadath, who is running a fancy store at Chinthamani Chathiram city bus terminal at Tiruchy, has put up an advertisement in front of his shop, saying that he needs to hire a person who can withdraw money for him for a fee.
The 60-year-old Sadath said he is ready to pay Rs 100 to Rs 150 per withdrawal, for those who can help him to withdraw money from his account. After a week, he has managed to recruit one Sekar for this purpose by paying Rs 100 per withdrawal from the bank or ATM, Sadath added.
