Hyderabad: Speeding auto rams into bikes, 1 killed

Hyderabad: An 18-year-old student was killed and a few others suffered injuries when a speeding trolley auto  rammed into their bikes they were travelling on at Nacharam on Tuesday evening.

According to the Nacharam police, G. Tharun, 18, an intermediate student from Habsiguda went to Mallapur along with his friends to watch a movie at Noma theatre.

While returning home, a speeding trolley auto bearing number TS 08 UE 4939 coming in wrong route hit the bike (AP 29 AP 5692) on which Tharun was travelling and another bike on which his friends were travelling.

Tharun and his friends fell on the road and received severe injuries. Tharun suffered severe head injury and he was rushed to Prasad Hospital by his friends, where he died due to excessive bleeding, said the police. Based on the complaint lodged by the boy’s mother G. Lavanya, a case has been booked against the trolley driver under Section 304A of the IPC and took him into custody for questioning.
