Nostradamus' Indicus: Was it about Modi or Yogi?

New Delhi: In 2014, at the height of the parliamentary poll campaign, there were posts that said the 16th century seer Nostradamus who predicted 9/11 and JFK’s assassination had said this on India  - the rise of “Politicus Bharatus Janatus Indicus”  and ‘the fall of “Congressus”.

According to the junior Union Minister for Home Kiren Rijuju, Nostradamus was predicting the rise and rise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reinforced, he said by what Nostradamus reportedly wrote in 1555: “From 2014 to 2026, a man will lead India, whom initially, people will hate but after that people will love him so much that he will be engaged in changing the country’s plight and direction. A middle aged superpower administrator will bring golden age not only in India but on the entire world. Under his leadership India will not only just become the Global Master, but many countries will also come into the shelter of India.”  

And that was a prescient 450 years ago! Was he talking about PM Modi or CM Yogi?
