Telangana says no power breakdown during Ugadi, Ramzan

HYDERABAD: Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) chairman and managing director G. Raghuma Reddy directed field engineers to be vigilant and ensure that there are no breakdowns during Ugadi and Ramzan festivals.
He reviewed the revenue, collection and losses under GHMC limits here on Tuesday. He said that restoration works of electricity lines and other infrastructure were caused due to untimely rains. He said that 99 per cent of collections are made against the monthly demand of ₹1,448 crore in the GHMC including the south circle collected ₹118 crore against ₹119 crore. He directed officials to bring down losses with field inspections by DPE and the vigilance wing.
