A resident of the area said, “We aren’t receiving water from the past four days because there was a leakage in the water pipeline at Malepally and this is the first time in the last four days the tanker has arrived. We have made several complaints to the water board officials about the issue and they said the repairs might take time and meanwhile will send the tanker. So they’ve send it today.” When contacted Mr G. Rameshwar Rao,  director, operations and maintenance of HMWS&SB, said, “We aren’t sure about the pipeline leakages, but the tanker services have increased because of summer.” If there are any complaints regarding the leakages, the people can call us directly and inform us about it, we will resolve the issue at the earliest.”
