Land behind Greenlands guesthouse belongs to private parties: Telangana HC
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Tuesday ruled that a 3,500-square-yard vacant land on the western side of the Greenlands Government Guest House in erstwhile Khairatabad village of Hyderabad mandal belongs to private parties.
Issuing an order favourable to Dr Chandra Rekha Vigg, Rajesh Jain and others, the court put an end to the dispute between the state government and private parties that has been going on in various legal forums since 1993.
Recently, the private parties approached the High Court against the government, represented by the General Administration Department and Protocol Department, alleging that government authorities were interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the plot under survey number 214/5 in erstwhile Khairatabad village (currently Begumpet).
After perusing the details of the case, Justice P. Madhavi Devi issued the orders confirming ownership by private persons.
The judge also said that the court was not deciding the factual position as to who was in possession of the property, but is only relying upon the findings given by lower courts which “have been confirmed by this court and thus have become final to hold that the private persons is the title holder and possessor of the subject property”.
