request to US authorities was under MLAT (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty)

It also submitted that they are waiting for the report of ninhydrin test on the note that was reportedly written by the deceased just before his death.

In the 143-page second additional chargesheet, the CBI submitted that there were aspects that made them suspect the role of M.V. Krishna Reddy, a long-time PA of Vivekananda Reddy. Ranganna to go inside the house to see Vivekananda Reddy, despite the fact that the watchman was never permitted to step into the house.

Meanwhile, the agency gave a clean chit to Sowbhagyamma, Suneetha Reddy, N. Raja Shekar Reddy, N. Siva Prakash Reddy and second wife Shaikh Shameem. The CBI mentioned that the family members had pointed out that when he was to marry Shameem, Vivekananda Reddy had given her money for purchasing jewellery and constructed an extra floor in her parent’s house at Balpanuru and assured to buy a house in Hyderabad to be nearer to their son’s school.

According to statements, Vivekananda Reddy was going through a financial
crisis after he lost the MLC election because Y.S. Avinash Reddy, Y.S.
Bhaskar Reddy and D. Siva Shankar Reddy had sabotaged.
