Cynthia Pandian passes away
Cynthia Pandian (71) was admitted to a private hospital a few days ago due to complications and she breathed her last on Sunday morning.

Chennai: Cynthia Pandian, former vice-chancellor of Tirunelveli-based Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and wife of former Tamil Nadu Speaker P H Pandian, died here on Sunday.
Cynthia Pandian (71) was admitted to a private hospital a few days ago due to complications and she breathed her last on Sunday morning.
An academician, Cynthia Pandian served as vice-chancellor of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and was known for bringing various new initiatives.
Husband P H Pandian and sons including former MP Manoj Pandian survive Cynthia Pandian. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam paid last respects to Cynthia Pandian at their residence in Anna Nagar.
