Bengaluru: St. Flowers English School and Boston International Public School located at CHBS Layout, Vijayanagar is now celebrating its silver jubilee. The school follows State and ICSE streams and currently has 3,000 students on its rolls and 250 staff members.

Founded by GLR Education Trust in 1991 the school provides wholesome and holistic education. The school has three-tier set up of KGs, primary and high school, with spacious classrooms and serene atmosphere. G.R. Krishnappa, the founder chairman of St Flowers English School and Boston International Public School, has a vision to provide education for excellence.

The school has recorded 100% results for the last 15 years in both the state and the ICSE streams. One of the students Rashmi scored 98.8% marks in the recent board examination. The school is also training students to take up various external and talent exams like Putani Vijnana, wherein the students have bagged four national, four state and seven district ranks. Children have also taken part in the abacus competition and have won masters and champion trophies. The school also provides ample opportunity for co-curricular activities such as yoga, karate, music, art and craft and sports.

The school also has a dedicated teaching faculty and recently two of the staff members were felicitated with Gurushree award by the Department of Education.

According to Mr Krishnappa his motto is to provide value added education to the students. “I want to take all the kids to Gandhi Bhavan this year to enlighten them about the Gandhian values,” he said. “Moral education is another thrust area. I want my students to be an asset to society once they come out of the school. With that vision, we are running the school,” he said.
