Schools achieve 100 per cent pass in class XII examinations

Thiruvananthapuram: The schools in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts performed  well in the CBSE class XII examinations results of which were announced on Saturday. All the 72 students of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Akkulam passed the examinations in both the streams. In the science stream, Mr Aswin S. Nair was the school topper with 489 marks out of 500. He scored 100 in both physics and maths. Ms Parvathy Pai scored 460 out of 500 to be the school topper in commerce stream.

St John’s School, Anchal also recorded hundred percent pass. Christina Varghese was the school topper with 474 marks. Daya Rita Prasad was the school topper in commerce with 468 marks. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Attukal secured 100 percent results in the CBSE class XII examinations. Of the 75 students who appeared in the examination, 35 students secured distinctions and, 33 came up with first class.

School toppers of different streams are  Nagend Kumar with 94.8 percent in commerce stream, Sandeep Sunil with 94.4 percent in biology stream  and Vignesh V. with 91.2 percent in computer science stream. St Mary’s Residential School, Poojappura also secured 100 percent results in the examinations.

Deepak K. secured 95.2 percent and topped in maths-computer group, Stephy Cleatus secured 95 percent and topped in maths-biology group and  Arathi. A secured 93.4 percent (467/500) and topped in group II B biology-computer.

Dr GR Public School scored 100 percent success in CBSE class XII 2016 examinations. Of the 57 students appeared; 14 scored above 90 percent and 50 secured distinction. In commerce group.Jayalekshmi J. Scored 96.8 percent and in science group Nithin M.S. scored 95 percent.

Out of 369 students who appeared for the examinations from Saraswathi Vidyalaya, 137 students secured distinction and 306 students secured first class. The stars from the school are Keerthi Gopal D. of science stream with 95 per cent marks, Deviika Balasubrmanium with 96 per cent in Humanities and Anjana S. P. with 93.2 per cent in commerce.

CBSE, Kendriya Vidyalaya , Pangode, Thiruvananthapuram , got 99.26 pass per cent. Out of 136 students appeared, 135 students passed in the examinations. The toppers in various streams are R. Rahul-science stream with  472 out of 500,  Naseem Sha -commerce stream with 472 out of 500) Renukha P. - humanities stream with 465 out of 500.

Blue Mount Public School Thonnakkal got 100 per cent results in CBSE class XII examinations with 10 out of 23 getting distinction and the remaining 13 getting first class. Sivagiri Sree Narayana Senior Secondary school, Sreenivasapuram, Varkala has 100 per cent pass in the examinations. In the science stream, out of 33 students who appeared, 22 students secured distinction. 

Kumari Parvathy Gireesan was the topper with 479 marks. In the commerce stream out of 13 students, 3 students secured distinction. Kumari Rakhi R.G was the topper with 455 marks in commerce All 49 Plus-2 students of Jyothis Central School, Kazhakuttom passed with 41 distinctions. Of all the students, 13  got above 90 percent, 28 students above 75 per cent and the other 8 students achieved above 60 per cent  marks. Shajna S.J. was placed topper in science with 95.2 per cent and Abhirami S.M. got 92.8% in commerce.

In KV Pattom the pass per cent for shift I was 100 and shift II 97 percent. Among the 162 students who appeared in the examinations, 101 students secured distinctions, 51 students secured first class and 10 students secured second class. In the science stream, Bala Narayanan Unnikrishnan are the toppers with 97.8 per cent marks followed by Neethu S. scoring 96.2 per cent and Reshma L. Pavithran with 95.2 per cent.

Dr GR Public School, Neyyatinkara has 100 percent results in the examinations with 57 students who appeared; 14 scoring above 90 per cent and 50 securing distinction. In commerce group Jayalekshmi J. scored 96.8 per cent and in science group Nithin M.S. scored 95 per cent.
