Visakhapatnam: Woman cop released on bail

Visakhapatnam: A local court in Visakhapatnam granted conditional bail to a reserve inspector (RI) of City Armed Reserve B. Swarnalatha and three others on Friday. It may be recalled that Swarnalatha and three other people were arrested by Vizag city police for extorting Rs12 lakh from a former Naval officer around two weeks ago.

The  gang had allegedly taken money from two retired naval officers promising them  that they would exchange Rs. 90 lakh in 500 currency notes for Rs One crore in Rs 2,000 currency but shared the entire money among them.
