Hyderabad: 19-yr-old blackmailed woman, in jail
Rayanuddin had forced the girl to be friends with him and threatened to kill her if she failed to be intimate with him.
Hyderabad: A 19-year-old student from a reputed business school in the city has landed in prison for collecting naked pictures of his female classmate and threatening to send the pictures to her parents. The accused had even compelled the victim to send her naked pictures from the bathroom of a movie theatre after which he threatened her further to act according to his interests, said the police.
The victim, 19, a city resident and a student of the business school located at Shankarpally, lodged a complaint against her classmate Mohammed Rayanuddin, 19, a native of Nizamabad who resided in the college hostel, alleging harassment.
Rayanuddin had forced the girl to be friends with him and threatened to kill her if she failed to be intimate with him. The boy reportedly took selfies with her in intimate positions and forced her to go out with him for movies and dinners asking her to act according to his interests.
“The accused threatened to send the pictures to her parents if she failed to do as he ordered. Some days ago, when the girl was at a movie theatre along with her parents, he compelled her to go to the bathroom and send naked pictures. Fearing Rayanuddin's threat, the girl had sent him the pictures through WhatsApp. He started blackmailing her even more after the episode,” said the Rachakonda cyber crime police. Based on the girl’s complaint, a case was booked against the boy under sections 354 (D), 506 and 509 of IPC and also under section 67 A of IT Act. Rayanuddin was arrested and produced before a court for judicial remand on Wednesday, said the police.
