Visakhapatnam: Revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao has claimed that development of 40 years was achieved in just four years from 2019, while revolutionary changes were also introduced in the way AP is being governed.

Addressing a meeting in Srikakulam town after conducting a Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam on Tuesday, the minister said TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu must explain what he did in his 14 years as chief minister.

“In four years, we introduced many changes in the governance. One change was the holding of a fresh land survey after a span of 100 years. All the clashes and disputes in the villages were due to old and obsolete land records. We began a transparent survey that would put to an end all the disputes.”

“This will also help in maximum utilisation of the land, which would also lead to growth of the GDP," he said.

He said survey was completed in 2,000 villages in Srikakulam district and efforts were on to facilitate land registrations in village Sachivalayams. “There is no scope for double registrations. All the land records would be tamper-free and without any ambiguity,” he stated.

Regarding health, the minister said the medical services have improved in the state. In Srikakulam, the RIMS hospital has improved its infrastructure facilities and corruption has been weeded out, he claimed.
