Hyderabad: Cops braved thick smoke and rescued residents who were trapped in an apartment fire at Panjagutta on Friday morning. As soon as the fire broke out in the apartment, locals noticed thick smoke from the apartment and alerted cops.

Patrol teams rushed to the spot and noticed that residents were trapped in one of the flats in the top floor. But due to fire the flat doors got jammed and the residents could not come out.
