Rajasthan: BJP MLA drives tractor to Assembly to thank CM Raje

Jaipur: A Rajasthan BJP MLA today drove to the state Assembly on a tractor to thank Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for rolling back a power tariff hike that affected farmers in the state.

Osian legislator Bhairaram Chaudhary, who drove from his residence in Vidhayakpuri today, surprised MLAs and other dignitaries gathered outside the Assembly.

After stepping down from the tractor, he said the chief minister had taken a decision in favour of farmers.

Not only this, she had also had regularised 432 agriculture water connection in Phalodi, he said. "I along with 500 farmers will meet the chief minister at her residence to express gratitude," he said.
