HYDERABAD: BRS  working president and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday served legal notices to TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy and BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar for making “baseless and false allegations” against him on the TSPSC question paper leakage scam.

Rama Rao claimed that both the Opposition leaders were deliberately dragging his name into the TSPSC question paper leak in order to malign him and the BRS government. The TSPSC is an autonomous and constitutional body, and that the state government has no role in its functioning, he stated. Despite this, both leaders leveled unfounded accusations against him and the BRS government, clearly demonstrating their lack of understanding of the TSPSC functioning.

Rama Rao claimed that Revanth Reddy and Sanjay plotted to impede the state government's recruiting process to fill thousands of vacancies in various departments under the guise of question paper leakage. The minister also mentioned Sanjay's earlier statement in which he described the state government's job notifications as a "conspiracy" of the BRS to alienate students and youth from the BJP during the election year by keeping them occupied with examinations.  He also cited the Congress leaders' appeal made to youth to set aside their studies and join hands with them in their fight against the BRS government. These statements by the BJP and the Congress leaders prove that they were against the state government undertaking recruitment drives for the unemployed youth, and for this reason they are trying to obstruct the process and the TSPSC question paper leakage incident was part of their larger conspiracy.
Rama Rao appealed to the youth not to believe the allegations being made by the BJP and the Congress leaders against the BRS. He urged them not to fall into the trap of the Opposition parties and stay focussed on exam preparation, while adding that the TSPSC has already initiated corrective measures to prevent such incidents in future.
