Kerala lawyers burn newspapers in Thrissur

A posse of policemen were posted during the protest.

Thrissur: Alleging biased reporting by media in the ongoing tiff between lawyers and media persons at the High Court and at the Vanchiyoor court in Thiruvananthapuram, lawyers of Thrissur Bar Association protested in front of the District Court in Ayyanathole by burning newspapers.

Nearly 50 lawyers participated in the protest at the gate of the Collectorate, where the district court complex is situated, and burned newspapers. For the second consecutive day, the lawyers struck work on Friday. A posse of policemen were posted during the protest.
