Father Tom Uzhunnalil to touch base on October 1

Father Tom has been recuperating at the press office of the Vatican after his release.

 KOTTAYAM: Father Tom Uzhunnalil, the Salesian priest who was freed by the terrorists in Yemen on September 12,   will reach New Delhi  from Vatican on September 28.  Father Tom  has been recuperating  at the press office of the Vatican after his release.

He will call on the prime minister and the external affairs minister  to thank them for  India government’s efforts to free him from his abductors.   He will  reach Bangalore on September 29  and come  to his native place Ramapuram here on October 1, said Father George Muttathuparampil, spokesman of the Salesian congregation.
