Four bikes gutted in Puthiyappa

Police suspects that the bikes might have caught fire accidentally while someone was extracting petrol from the bikes.

KOZHIKODE: Four bikes parked in front of a home at Puthiappa were found gutted on Tuesday morning. The bikes were parked in front of the house of Puthiyangadi Sooryankandi Muraleedharan. A police team headed by Assistant Commissioner E.P. Pridhvi Raj  and Nadakkav Circle Inspector T.K. Ashraf visited the spot and examined the vehicles. Police suspects that the bikes might have caught fire accidentally while someone was extracting petrol from the bikes. There were a few such incidents in the past when some unidentified culprits drained out petrol from parked bikes.
