AP to supply wheat flour at Rs 16 a kg to all seven lakh rice card holders from Feb.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government to supply a maximum quantity of two kgs of wheat flour at subsidised price of Rs 16 per kg to benefit nearly seven lakh
rice cardholders in the north coastal Andhra region from February
onwards.
The state civil supplies commissioner in a statement issued here on Monday stated that as the state government was providing free rice and tur dal and rice at
subsidised price to all the rice cardholders in the state, it wanted to extend
the benefit further by providing wheat flour also and called upon all the rice
cardholders to avail the benefit by taking wheat flour at subsidised price
through the public distribution system.
The subsidised wheat flour will be supplied to 16 municipalities falling under
districts-Vizianagaram, Manyam, Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam in the state.
