VIJAYAWADA:  A woman Arudra has accused authorities of not doing her justice despite the directive of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to help her in selling her property to raise funds for treating her ill daughter Sai Lakshmi Chandra.

Hailing from Rayudupalem village in Kakinada rural mandal, the woman has alleged that her neighbour, a police constable, is forcing her to sell her house to him for just ₹10 lahks when its market value is ₹40 lakh.

Arudra had tried to meet the CM at his camp office last November, but she had not been allowed for security reasons. Following this, she attempted suicide to draw the attention of the Chief Minister. Thereafter, Jagan Mohan Reddy directed officials to do justice to her.

In a video message that has gone viral on social media platforms now, the woman has alleged that despite the directives of CM, no justice has been done to her. Neither has there been any progress in the case booked against the police constable on charges of subjecting her to harassment.

In the video, Arudra wonders whether she would get justice even after her death.
