Deserted by wife, man dies by suicide in Atmakur

 Kurnool: A 35-year-old man named Ravi Kumar, residing in Indiranagar in Atmakur town, died by suicide in the late hours of Tuesday allegedly because his wife failed to return home from her parents’ place.

Ravi Kumar, a private employee, found himself in a distressing situation when his wife left for her mother’s home following differences within the family. She did not return for several days. The emotional turmoil drove him to take the extreme step, said Atmakur police. They have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
