Woman dies after house roof collapses in Dornipadu

 KURNOOL; A 21-year-old newly married woman died after the roof of house collapsed at Dornipadu mandal headquarters on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Prathyusha, daughter of Munesudu and Naga Gurramma.

The incident occurred when Prathyusha was preparing to leave for her husband's village after marriage, following the traditional vadibiyyam ritual. While at home, she was engaged in performing religious rituals when the house collapsed due to the deteriorating condition of the old walls.

Despite the efforts of her family members and local people, they were unable to rescue her from the debris.

The Dornipadu police have registered a case and are investigating.
