Under-Trial Prisoner Dies at Nizamabad Hospital

 Nizamabad: An under-trial prisoner Yousuf, 36, of Gajyanaik thanda in Machareddy mandal of Kamareddy district died on Saturday night at Government General Hospital in Nizamabad.

Yousuf allegedly killed his sister Ruksana over property dispute on September 12 at Machareddy Crossroads and later surrendered before police.

After arrest, police shifted him to the Kamareddy jail, where he fell sick for the last three days. For better treatment, police shifted him to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad, where he died while undergoing treatment.

Police said that he died due to cardiac arrest. They registered a case and are investigating.
