Borabanda CI Transferred For Negligence

 Hyderabad: City police commissioner Sandeep Shandilya attached Borabanda inspector Kamalla Ravi Kumar to commissioner’s office on the charges of negligence.

According to sources, Shandilya went to the police station on Tuesday afternoon during a surprise check and found Kumar beating a rowdysheeter. The inspector was unable to provide information to the commissioner about the status of rowdysheeters in the jurisdiction.

Shandilya took Kumar along with him to identify the houses of rowdysheeters but the inspector could not do so. “I gave Ravi Kumar a second chance to identify the houses of rowdysheeters in his jurisdiction but he utterly failed. Till the completion of elections, Ravi will be attached to the commissioner’s office and another inspector will take his charge,” Shandilya said.

Sources said Kumar was hardly going to the police station, was unpunctual, careless in assigning duties and entering cases in the General Diary (GD).
