AP-CID search residences of former TD minister’s daughter

HYDERABAD: Officials from Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) conducted searches on the residences of the daughter of former minister P. Narayana at Madhapur, Gachibowli and Kukatpally in connection with a case pertaining to Amaravati land dispute.

A team of CID officials arrived from Andhra Pradesh and initiated search operations at three different locations, including Kola Luxuria in Kondapur, Meenakshi Bamboos in Gachibowli and Lodha towers at Kukatpally.
The officials reportedly collected bank statements of Narayana's family members and inquired about the transactions. The CID teams focused on transactions related to purchase of open plots and construction of houses in Amaravati when the Telugu Desam was in power.

The officials found irregularities in the land deals as also in the leak of SSC question papers. Earlier, AP police had registered cases in connection with the question paper leak.

Earlier, the CID officials conducted raids on the Madhapur residence of Narayana.
