Andhra Pradesh: Chief Secretary wants land survey completed by September 30

VIJAYAWADA: Chief secretary Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy instructed district collectors to ensure that second phase land survey of 2,000 villages be completed in the state by September 30, so that land title documents could be distributed after laying of the boundary stones.

The CS said construction of village secretariats and Rythu Bharosa Kendras should be completed by September 15. He set the deadline for completion of YSR Health Clinics as December end.

Jawahar Reddy held a virtual review meeting on Saturday with collectors and joint collectors of various districts along with CM’s chief adviser Ajay Kallam.
Special Chief Secretary, Revenue Department and CCLA G Sai Prasad explained the process of district-wise Jagananna Bhu Hakku second phase land survey through a power point presentation. He said two lakh mutations and four lakh subdivisions have been done so far. Further, 56 lakh boundary disputes have been resolved.

When Ajay Kallam said land documents related to NRIs should be sent in digital form, special chief secretary Sai Prasad said the documents will be sent in PDF form to NRIs, who are land owners.

Survey and Settlement commissioner Siddhartha Jain, additional secretary CMO R .Mutyala Raju and additional CCLA A. MD Imtiaz were present at the meeting.
