Suncity accident survivor SOS to KTR for help

HYDERABAD: Among the many requests made to Minister K.T. Rama Rao on his birthday was one on behalf of the lone survivor of the accident at Sun City a few days ago when a woman and her daughter on a morning walk were killed on the spot by a speeding car and Mohd Intakhab Khan was severely injured. He is undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital. The minister is yet to respond to the request made on his behalf.

Tweeting on Khan’s behalf, Amina Rahman, a social activist, wrote, “ Dear @KTRBRS garu, While sending u the Birthday wishes in advance, may I request you to kindly help this gentleman who is a victim of the Suncity accident & battling for his life. The details given in the image one. They will always be grateful for your help. Best wishes (sic).”

Netizens joined her, appealing to the minister to help Khan and provide assistance for his treatment. According to the doctors, Khan is in ICU with sepsis and may need prolonged ICU stay and rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, a request for assistance made on behalf of a boy on dialysis and in critical condition at NIMS Hospital was directed to his office for assistance and follow-up.

Another request made on behalf of a toddler from Yadadri Bhongir district, in need of liver transplant was immediately addressed and his office was directed to provide the required assistance.
