Commissioner of Entrance Examinations publishes allotment schedule

The CEE has also said that the fee are provisional and subject to final decision of the courts and admission and fee regulatory committee.

KOCHI: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations on Thursday released the detailed schedule and other details of the next round of counsellings including spot allotment.  According to this, candidates will be given opportunity from August 25 to 26, 4 pm through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in to re-arrange their existing higher order options/delete their unwanted options and to file fresh options to MES Medical College, Malappuram and Dr Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, for which allotment was not done on August 19.

The CEE said that the Registrar, KUHS has informed that students can be allotted to Karuna Medical College, Palakkad and Kannur Medical College, Anjarakkandi, Kannur for the year 2017-18 and also informed that the status of affiliation of Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Kozhikode and SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram will be intimated after the meeting of the Governing Council scheduled to be held on August 25. 

“In these circumstances, candidates will be given the facility to file fresh options to the above four colleges also. The allotment to Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Kozhikode and SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram will be subject to the receipt of affiliation orders from KUHS,” the CEE said. After considering the options existing up to 4 pm on August 26, next round of allotment shall be published in the evening on August 27. All the students getting allotment to MBBS/BDS courses in the allotment to be published on August 27 will have to present themselves with required fee and all original documents at the old auditorium inside Government Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram on August 28 or 29 for taking admission. 

“Those who are satisfied with their present allotment and do not want to be considered for their existing higher options shall have to delete their higher order options before 4 pm on August 26 and should report for joining at Old Auditorium inside Government Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram on August 28 or 29 with all the documents and requisite fee,” he said. According to the CEE, the KMCT and Sree Narayana will have a fee of Rs 11 lakh in 85 per cent seats of which Rs 6 lakh will be bank guarantee drawn in favour of the CEE. For MES and Somervell MCs, only 35 per cent management seats have Rs 11 lakh fee of which Rs 6 lakh is bank guarantee while in 50 per cent government quota seats, the fee will be Rs 2.5 lakh. Other private SF medical colleges will have a fee of '5 lakh in 85 per cent seats along with a bond of upto Rs 6 lakh in stamp paper worth Rs 500 in the format available on www.cee-kerala.org. 

The CEE has also said that the fee are provisional and subject to final decision of the courts and admission and fee regulatory committee. The spot admission has been scheduled by the CEE at the Old Audit-orium inside Government Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram on August 30 and 31.
