KOZHIKODE: A 10-member special investigation team of the police has questioned ten people in connection with the incident of a scooter found on rail tracks at Pallithazham near Chorode in Vadakara Wednesday night. They were locals and a few youth from Vadakara.  They had almost concluded that there was no sabotage angle. “So far, we have not come across any clue pointing to the sabotage motive. The possibility of involvement of any organised outfits is also remote,” inspector A. Umesh who heads the team told DC.

The scooter is owned by P.V.C Jasir, a resident who recently reached here from Gulf where he is employed. Around the same time on Wednesday night, his neighbour Arshad’s motorbike was torched by unidentified persons. According to police, a few days back, another bike was also attacked in the same area, and they are investigating the connection between the three.
