DGP Says Probing Letter from Jail on Naidu's Release
Anantapur: DGP K.V. Rajendranath Reddy on Tuesday said police are investigating the matter of a letter being released by Rajahmundry Central Jail stating that TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has been released from the prison.
He spoke to media in Anantapur, where he had been the chief guest of the Passing Out Parade of 28 trainee DSPs.
The DGP clarified that prison authorities have informed that they have written no letter in this regard.
Rajendranath Reddy made it clear that action will be taken in this matter after investigations.
He refuted allegations by TD and family members of Naidu that there is no safety for Chandrababu Naidu in jail. He maintained that the TD chief is under full security within the jail.
