Hyderabad: Four bikers hurt after collision

None of the four were wearing helmets and both bikes were speeding.

The incident came to light only when the footage of the accident went viral on social media, hours after the mishap at Ranigunj.

Hyderabad: Four bikers suffered injuries when they collided into each other while one of them was taking a turn on the Tank Bund during early hours on Saturday.

None of the four were wearing helmets and both bikes were speeding.

The incident came to light only when the footage of the accident went viral on social media, hours after the mishap at Ranigunj.

According to Gandhinagar police, two youngsters, Sai Teja and Bhanu Prakash, of Uppal, came to Tank Bund on Saturday night.

At around 3.44 am, when they were taking a U-turn on the road to go towards Ranigunj side, another bike, on which Siva Kumar and Aryan were heading towards Ambedkar statue side from Ranigunj area, collided with them.

The bikes collided at great speed causing a huge impact and all four fell on the road.

Prakash suffered a fracture to his leg, while the other three received mild injuries. Passersby alerted the Gandhinagar police and the injured persons were shifted to different hospitals for treatment. Gandhinagar inspector, S. Sreenivasa Rao said that the all the youngsters suffered injuries during the accident but all are stated to be out of danger.

A case has been registered for investigation.
