CM Jagan Celebrates Christmas with Family and Friends

ANANTAPUR: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy celebrated Christmas along with family members at the CSI Church in Pulivendula in Kadapa district on Monday. He was on the last day of the three-day tour of YSR district.

The chief minister’s mother YS Vijayamma, wife YS Bharathi Reddy, close relatives YS Prakash Reddy, YS Manohar Reddy, YS Avinash Reddy and other senior YSRC leaders participated in the event. Jagan Reddy arrived from Idupulapaya to Pulivendula to take part in the celebrations.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his mother YS Vijayamma, cut the Christmas cake in the presence of the family members, friends and well-wishers. They exchanged greetings and pleasantries between them besides unveiling the Church Calendar 2024. 

The chief minister interacted with those present in the church after the prayers and said that he was immensely happy to celebrate the festival with such a large gathering here every year.

“As chief minister, I am repaying my gratitude to the people who are extending their selfless services to me and the government. I pray to God to retain His blessings for me and trust that the people would continue to have the affection they have towards me by placing me in their hearts,” Jagan Reddy stated.

District in-charge minister A Suresh, deputy chief minister Amzath Basha, ZP chairman Amarnath Reddy, MLC Ramesh Yadav, MLA D Sudha, district collector Vijayarama Raju and senior officials were present.

Later, the chief minister attended a marriage event held by the Kadapa Wakf board chairman’s family and blessed the couple. After completion of the three-day visit, the chief minister went to Kadapa airport and flew to Gannavaram.
