Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavam begins at Srisailam

ANANTAPUR: Nallamala forests have been with huge crowds of devotees on padayatra who were in Sivamala on the occasion of ongoing Mahas Sivarathri Brahmotsavalu of Lord Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bramarambhika.

The charities were providing anna danam in Nallamala forest enroute to Srisaialam from various parts. Bailuti, Nagaluti and Kailasa Dwaram have been made elaborate arrangements to provide facilities for devotees who were reaching to historic temple to offer irumudi.

Srisaialam have been decorated for the occasion. Vahana sevas were taken out on the third day of Annual Brahmotsavalu on Friday. The Lord and Goddess took out on a procession in the streets of Srisaialam.

Sri Kanipakam temple authorities offered Silk Cloths and traditional offers to goddess on Friday.

Additional police forces have been deputed from various police stations of Kurnool district towards bandobast. Separate parking places were set up to avoid traffic problems in temple town. In the view of online tickets released for darshan, temple sources said huge response for darshan tickets online to avoid huge rush at counters.
