Stray dogs attack 5-yr-old at Wyra

 KHAMMAM: Another incident of stray dogs attacking a child took place in Wyra of Khammam district on Saturday.

Street dogs attacked Mudigonda Krishna Kaushik, 5yr, who was playing outside his house after coming from school in the evening at BC Colony in ward number 1 in Wyra municipality on Saturday.

On hearing the screams of the boy, the alert neighbours rushed to his rescue and shifted him to the local government hospital. The child suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The boy was undergoing treatment at the hospital and his condition was said to be stable. The residents demanded that the municipal authorities take steps to control the menace of stray dogs.
