VACB sets up Pooram stall against graft

Thrissur: The Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau  has come up with a stall at the  Pooram exhibition ground here to create awareness among the public about the need to stand up to corruption. The Vigilance Ernakulam zone superintendent inaugurated the pavilion the other day. Vigilance officials said that the public who visit the stall would be instructed  how to put up a complaint with the Vigilance against acts of corruption.

The history of the VACB, research and training wing, the latest methods employed by the Vigilance to collect complaints and information about the corrupt government officials are explained in the stall. “We have two mobile apps ‘Arising Kerala’ and ‘Whistle Now,’ and the visitors will be taught  how to use them,” Thrissur Vigilance DySP A. Ramachandran said.
