Kollam: Jawan's body to be brought home soon
The body will be brought to Dibrugarh airport in Assam after for conducting autopsy.
KOLLAM: The body of a jawan who died while working with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force will be brought to his hometown in Kollam soon, said N.K. Premachandran MP. M.S. Midhin of Neduvila Veedu, Kacheri Mukku in Kundara died while on duty the other day. His body has been located at about 74 kilometers deep inside the forest away from Andrung in Assam, the nearest place from the spot having road facility.
The body could be recovered only with the help of Indian Air Force helicopter as while adverse weather hindered search operations, Mr. Premachandran added. Mr. Midhin was working with 49 batallion of the force. The body will be brought to Dibrugarh airport in Assam after for conducting autopsy. The body will then be flown to Kerala.
