Rahul Gandhi a coward: M V Jayarajan
He demanded that the Congress leadership explain the party's stand on the issue.
KOZHIKODE: Rahul Gandhi’s flip-flop in the Supreme Court over his remarks against the RSS connection in Mahatma Gandhi’s killing shows his cowardly nature, opined CPM state committee member M.V. Jayarajan. He demanded that the Congress leadership explain the party's stand on the issue. "There are documents to prove RSS’ involvement in the conspiracy to assassinate Gandhi. The RSS was also banned in 1948 following the incident," Mr Jayarajan said.
The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that he never meant to blame the entire RSS for the assassination. "Congress always takes a soft stand against Communalism and this change of stand from Mr Rahul is the latest example of their efforts to whitewash the murderers of Gandhi," Mr Jayarajan said.
