Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH,) in partnership with the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (BHU) announced its participation as a nodal centre for Telangana state in the Yuva Sangam Phase 3 Initiative. An initiative of the Government of India under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme, Yuva Sangam aims to strengthen the bond between youth from different states, fostering a sense of unity and understanding among the nation’s vibrant young minds.

The initiative unites youth from across the country, offering tours to different states and allowing students, off-campus youth, NSS volunteers and individuals in the age group between 18 and 30 to explore India’s rich cultures, growth and technological advancements.

The tours are scheduled to take place between November and December.
The core objective of Yuva Sangam is to offer a multi-dimensional exposure to youth under five categories — Paryatan (tourism), Parampara (tradition), Pragati (development), ParasparSampark (people-to-people connect) and Prodyogiki (technology). Youths in the age group between 18 and 30 can participate. The last date for registration is October 28. Those interested can register on the website https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/.
