AP CS offers prayers at Tirumala, Tiruchanoor temples

Tirupati: Sameer Sharma, chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh, offered prayers at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala along with his family members on Friday.

He was accompanied to the sanctum sanctorum by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, priests and officials. After darshan, pundits rendered ‘Vedaseervachanam’ on the chief secretary and his family members.

TTD EO Dharma Reddy offered him ‘Teertha Prasadam’ and a laminated photo of Lord Balaji as a memento to the protocol dignitary. Tirumala temple deputy executive officer Ramesh Babu and others were also present.

Later, the chief secretary offered prayers in Padmavathi Ammavaru temple at Tiruchanoor. He was accorded a warm welcome by TTD joint executive officer V. Veerabrahmam with traditional temple honours. After darshan, he was presented with Prasadam. Chandragiri MLA and TTD Ex-officio board member Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and others were present.
