Complaint lodged against BRS MLC for derogatory comments against Telangana Guv

HYDERABAD: Saroornagar police have sought a legal opinion on a complaint lodged by Saroor nagar corporator Akula Srivani against BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy, who made derogatory comments against Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan.

Akula Srivani from the BJP in her complaint said that MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy reportedly abused, used derogatory and highly objectionable language addressing the Governor.

" It was very disturbing to me and as a woman I felt very uncomfortable with the language used by him," she said.

Saying that such comments will encourage and help in the increase of crime against women, Srivani sought a criminal case be booked against Kaushik Reddy.

Srivani had earlier lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad Cyber crime wing against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Minister KT Rama Rao, for their alleged derogatory comments against the Prime Minister and Union Ministers. Her complaint was closed due to lack of evidence.
