Hyderabad: TJAC boss M Kodandaram detained while conducting 2 kilometer run
The protesters had planned to undertake the two-km run from Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Barkatpura towards Indira Park.

Hyderabad: TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram and several other political activists were detained by police while they were conducting a 2K run near Indira Park.
Police said there was no permission for such an event. The arrested persons include Vimalakka, CPM leader Thammineni Veerabhadram, and CPI leader Chada Venkat.
The Left parties and other organisations conducted the run to protest against the government's proposal to shift ‘Dharna Chowk’, the venue to hold demonstrations, from Indira Park to the outskirts of the city.
