TSPSC leak: NSUI urges President Murmu to bring house to order
HYDERABAD: As part of building pressure against the ruling BRS government over the TSPSC question paper scam, the student wing of Congress, NSUI, on Wednesday wrote to President Droupadi Murmu seeking her intervention.
It expressed fears that crucial evidence that is in the hands of Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the case, may be tampered to suit those at the helm of affairs in the state.
Bringing to her notice about the attempts by the state government to water down the investigation, NSUI leaders felt that the President should ensure that the current body of TSPSC is replaced and there is a CBI probe into the murky affair.
In a letter addressed to the President, state president of the student body, Balmoor Venkat pointed out that the future of 30 lakh job aspirants is hanging in the balance.
“It is disgraceful on the part of TSPSC that it is engaged in such illegal and criminal actions with the backing of the ruling party,” he pointed out.
“An independent inquiry by the CBI is not only crucial but also urgent because there is every chance that critical evidence that can nail the prime accused may either be destroyed or the lives of suspects who have been arrested so far will be in danger as they hold critical secrets of the unholy nexus between the CMO, the ruling party and the commission,” he said.
