Treasure Hunt draws many youngsters in Visakhapatnam
The youngsters were indeed participants in a treasure hunt game -- Beg, Borrow and Survive held on the Beach Road.
Visakhapatnam: Drenching in the rain, many youngsters were seen looking out for various odd things like a 50 paise coin, ATM balance slip and old movie tickets in the city on Sunday.

As many as 300 college students and also some working professionals enthusiastically turned up for the event comprising of five rounds. It began from 11 am and the participants were given time to complete the task by 6 pm.
The event received huge response as it was not just a game but winning the game also ensured the students a chance to do paid internship in companies like Uber, Symbiosys Technologies and other reputed organisations.
The questions tested the participants’ presence of mind, intelligence and also the knowledge related to the city’s historic places and heritage building. The candidates needed to clear each round to get entry for the next round.
Symbiosys Technologies CEO O. Naresh Kumar inaugurated the contest and said youth should always have a positive attitude to succeed in life. He said they were trying to find out talented youth through such events. There was also a cash prize of '10,000 to winners and runners team beside the paid internship.
“I was very eager to participate in the event as it is for the first time that such an event is being organised in the city. It is not only just fun but also offering a chance to work with a reputed organisation,” said Nikhil and Dileep, B. Tech students in a city-based college.
Some young working professionals also participated in the event. “We are already employed and so we do not need the internship. I am here only to enjoy it and have masti,” said Ranjana, working with a pharma company in the city.
