Telangana government: High Court Order stopping egg supply
A single judge granted an order not to insist on traders having NECC registration.
Hyderabad: The TS government on Friday told the Hyderabad High Court it could not able to supply eggs to anganwadi centres across the state due pendency of an appeal against an order passed by the court.
A. Sanjeev Kumar, special counsel for the TS government, brought to the notice of a division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice U. Durga Prasad Rao that the Integrated Child Development Project director of Mahbubnagar district issued a notification inviting tenders for supply of eggs to 20 anganwadi centres in the district from poultries registered with the National Egg Coordination Committee.
He said aggrieved by the condition of NECC accreditation, some traders from the district moved the High Court. A single judge granted an order not to insist on traders having NECC registration, in view of earlier orders passed by the court in 2012 and 2015.
While considering the submissions, Justice Ranganathan asked counsel for the petitioners to file counter affidavit immediately and directed the registry to list the case for Monday.

The Hyderabad High Court on Friday granted one week’s time to the TS A-G and Additional A-G to file their written arguments in a petition questioning the Bulletin issued on March 10, 2016 by the TS Legislature Secretariat merging the TD Legislature Party with the TRS LP.
