V K Sasikala's husband M Natarajan to be discharged in a few days

Chennai: M. Natarajan, husband of sacked AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala, has been shifted to regular ward from the ICU as he is “recovering well” following kidney and liver transplant.

In a statement, Dr K Ilankumaran, Director, Institute of Liver Disease and Transplantation said Natarajan is not on any organ support and both his transplanted liver and kidney are functioning well.

“The tracheostomy tube of M Natarajan has been removed. He will be discharged from the hospital in the next few days,” he said. Natarajan underwent kidney and liver transplant at the hospital earlier this month.
