CM renders on-the-spot financial assistants to six persons

A weightlifter, who has been selected for a 75 kilos weightlifting contest in Malaysia from Dec 10 to 18, urged the CM to provide transport charges etc that would come to Rs 2.50 lakh.

Kakinada: Six persons got special financial assistance after they approached Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with requests when he went to Diwancheruvu village of Rajanagaram mandal in East Godavari district to attend a marriage on Thursday.

The chief minister asked district collector Madhavi Latha to do the needful. She later said a sum of  Rs 5.50 lakh has been distributed to six beneficiaries as per word from the CM.

A weightlifter, who has been selected for a 75 kilos weightlifting contest in Malaysia from Dec 10 to 18, urged the CM to provide transport charges etc that would come to Rs 2.50 lakh. The amount has been given to the player. This apart, a sum of  Rs 1 lakh has been given to Peyyala Baburao suffering from eye problems from Annavaram village in Konaseema district.

A sum of Rs 25,000 was given to Rapaka Venkata Suryanarayana of Gudapalli village in Malkipuram mandal,Rs 1 lakh to Dake Chandra Phani Kumar of Vadapalli village in P Gannavaram mandal, Rs 50,000 to the family members of a deceased poor. A job has been promised to one of the family members.

Also, a sum of  Rs 25,000 was given to Shaik Abdul Kadhar of Pothavaram village in Nallajerla mandal. A house site would be given to Thota Indra Kumari of Pothavaram village soon.
