Vijayawada: Durga Temple to close due to lunar eclipse

Vijayawada: Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada will be closed on Saturday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. due to the partial lunar eclipse on the day.

The temple will reopen on Sunday, October 29, at 3 a.m.

Rituals like Snapanabhishekam, will be performed before allowing people to have darshan of the Goddess from 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Upalayams of the temple will also be closed for the lunar eclipse.
